Driving Directions:

FROM THE NORTH:

Take the New York State Route 22 South from Pawling, N.Y.(Dutchess County), until you come to Putnam County and the Town of Patterson: Continue south on State Route 22 about 4 miles until you come to Putnam County Route 69 (Haviland Hollow Road).  This is at a 3 way intersection stop light.  (There is a Gas Station on the right,  a Dinner and small Mom-Pop stores on the left).  > Turn  left and go about 1/2 mile to East Branch Road and >  turn right onto Fairfield Drive.  >  Go about 2 miles to Fairfield Drive and > go straight ahead to the “downtown” area of Putnam Lake.  Stop at Firehouse & three 3 way stop sign.  > Turn left at the obelisk (War Memorial) onto Haviland Drive ( Putnam County Route 67) and go about 9/10th of a mile to Kenton Road on the right.  >  Turn right onto Kenton Road and pass one house and then bear left (do NOT bear right onto Knox Road)  past a second house.  You are not at the “T” intersection of Kenton and Interlaken Road.  >  Turn left onto Interlaken Road and go about 100 feet to driveway on right hand side.  Look for sign that says, “Dale Paegelow AIA-Architect”.  THe house is a red log cabin about 150’ back from the road.

FROM THE SOUTH:

Take Interstate Route 84 or 684 to Route 22 North, until you come to: Putnam County Route  65 (Doansburg Road).  (You will pass through 3 stop lights and turn right at the 4th stop light.)  This is at a 4 way intersection stop light.  >  Turn right and go up the hill past the Brewster Post Office and continue on for about 2 miles.  You will pass “Green Chimneys” after about 1 1/2 miles.  >  Continue up the hill (after green chimneys) to a “T” stop sign.  >  Turn right onto Fairfield drive and go straight ahead to the “downtown” area of Putnam Lake.  Stop at Firehouse & three 3 way stop sign.  > Turn left at the obelisk (War Memorial) onto Haviland Drive ( Putnam County Route 67) and go about 9/10th of a mile to Kenton Road on the right.  >  Turn right onto Kenton Road and pass one house and then bear left (do NOT bear right onto Knox Road)  past a second house.  You are not at the “T” intersection of Kenton and Interlaken Road.  >  Turn left onto Interlaken Road and go about 100 feet to driveway on right hand side.  Look for sign that says, “Dale Paegelow AIA-Architect”.  THe house is a red log cabin about 150’ back from the road.
